If you use the
ThereClient's
EnvironmentVariableEditor to set the value of the
musicHud variable to 1, a translucent blue band will appear near the top of the display when the next stream starts, showing the station's name and the current song title and artist. This acts like an aviation-style Heads Up Display, thus "HUD".
The musicHUD will not appear if a stream is already in progress; you'll have to interrupt the stream and restart it to force the HUD to appear. This can be accomplished by muting and un-muting background audio via the volume control panel.
